SEO Challenge - Heat 2

Here's your last chance to test yourself and prove that you Know How To Optimize your blog post on the internet.

The new keyword for the second heat of the SEO Challenge is H2O-KHTO2010 (Heat2Optimization). Discuss or give your opinion about the New Automated Poll Machines on 2010 Presidential Election in the Philippines in Connection of Using Computer During the Election.

It should be composed of not less than 500 words but will not exceed by 600 words. Make sure that you place your FULL NAME with your COURSE/YEAR/SECTION as a starting sentence of your post. The same rules and regulations will be observed except for the updated ruled mentioned above this statement.

Commenting - it is another way of building or creating ones link. You read an article on a site or a post in a blog on which it allows you to leave for your comment then.

So where are you going to create these links? Basically only on the sites that has forums on where you can leave your comments, you can also leave comment on blog posts, you try also to join an SEO contest because it also allows you to leave your comment as well, on the message board or a chat area of a site

Leaving your comment will looks like this one:
So it asks you to provide your NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and URL, some require for an account or a profile on GOOGLE, WORDPRESS ETC... so by these three things alone, you will be able to submit your comment then.

But not all of the comment are guaranteed for acceptance because some of it needs for approval from the OWNER OF THE SITE or THE MODERATOR OF THE FORUM so you have 50/50 chance of possibilities, just make sure you have a positive comment then...

Another posibility is that not all of your comment will do help build link. Some of the forums or chat areas are just there for display of comments, but some also do build link for you... those things are what they call DO FOLLOW, so therefore those forums which is only for display of forums are NOFOLLOW. So how are you going to know if the forum you are trying to leave your comment is a DO FOLLOW forum? Just right click on those links on the post or on the post itself and then on the PROPERTIES, check it out if there is an indication of either NOFOLLOW or DOFOLLOW, some do not indicate at all which means as some says it is understood as it is a DOFOLLOW.
So guys, to avoid waste of time, check it out first before you comment.

BLOG REVIEWS - Update Me!!!

Here's a thing to do to make your post go to the highest rank it can reach (depending on your effort dude!)... It's the blog review... after everything, optimizing your posts... to follow up your work.. BLOG REVIEW is the next thing you are supposed to do. This is a new post which is still related to your last post in which to follow-up your previous post.

Here's the scenario... You had choosen to post about 2010 Vancouver, Canada Winter Olympics, on which this is still the keywords.. well ofcourse you have to say something on this post, eveything you know and researched for this topic. Now, we know that olympics lasts for several days, so you have to update your posts right? But wait... not all of those... why?

This BLOG REVIEW is applicable for your supporting sites only, you do not touch what you had posted on your main site, because if you do... tested and proven, it will definitely plummet from the skies to the ground. Since that your supporting sites throw their links to your main site... it is only reasonable that your supporting sites needs to be updated.

Easy dude!

Create a new post which is related or an update based on your previous post. Use the same tags but make sure the title and content should be unique.
On your post, set a hyperlink on three (3) texts or images, preferably text which has the same label with your tags.
Use the URL of your main post as the link for the selected text or image on which obviously linked to your main post.
Then post it dude and your finish... start optimizing your post then just like what you have done to your previous posts

PING My Site!!!

PING - usually being done after submitting your URL to some socialmarker sites. So what are the things should be done??? Simple!!!

Before that, there are only two (2) important details that is needed, its the posts' URL and the title of the post, yeah! only those.

1. Try to find a ping site which can also be done in google.com's search page or in some other search sites... and try to type the keywords: FREE PING SITES... Here are some suggested ping sites:

On the a ping site, usually it would ask for your Website URL and Website Name or Title, some will even ask for RSS matter but it is optional, while other ask fpr Category on which you have to choose it for it and it is essensial, then finally it will even ask you once again for a capacha code on which you have to supply it correctly.

3. Then click PING or PING MY SITE, just wait for it till it indicate that it is done pinging your site.

Social Bookmarking - How?

Social Bookmarking - is a method for Internet users to share, organize, search, and manage bookmarks of web resources. But how???

Just follow these simple steps and your on....

Create a post on your blog (based on the topic which was picked or was given)
Make sure you had included the keywords(tags) necessary
After posting, proceed to socialmarker.com, socialposter.com or vmoptions depending which site you are unto, but do not close your blog yet because you are going to optimize your post. Make sure you had already an account on every checked or marked active social maker sites which is usually listed on the side portion of the bookmarking sites that you are visiting.

4. Based on the image below, supply the necessary details needed, all of the fields should be filled.

A. On the TITLE, ofcourse, the title of your post, just copy it from your post and paste it then...

B. for the LINK (URL), make sure you clicked the title of your post on your blog to get the specific URL of the post (usually it is a long URL that can be found on the address bar of the browser [internet explorer or mozilla firefox] that you are using)

C. On the TEXT (description) you may place a brief content from your blog post, just 2 to 3 first sentences would do the job

D. Finally on the tag(keywords), whatever that you had set as keywords or tags on your blog post should also be the same on which you are going to fill here. Just copy and paste it!!!

5. After successfullt supplying the necessary details, simply click SUBMIT or START POSTING. Try to wait for a bit of time because the site is collecting data from checked socialmarker sites, just imagine atleast 50 websites combined on one site.
6. After the page had been successfully loaded, the first socialmarker site will be viewed, usually propeller.com on socialmarker.com while on the socialposter.com, its the digg.com...

You must login first to access your account, on your account try to find the following buttons or link: SUBMIT URL, SUBMIT STORY, SUBMIT BOOKMARK, SUBMIT LINK... OR... ADD URL, ADD STORY, ADD BOOKMARK, ADD LINK... OR... CREATE URL, CREATE STORY, CREATE BOOKMARK, CREATE LINK ... Hope you'll find it!!!

7. Upon clicking the link, it will redirect you to a page on where you have to supply some text boxes of some necessary details like: URL or LINK, TITLE (the title of your post), TEXT or NOTE or DESCRIPTION (the brief description of the post) and TAG or KEYWORDS. Just simply click and drag the mentioned details above on the textbox so that you do not have to copy and paste it. Addtional thing is that the page also ask you to select a CATEGORY and the CAPACHA code...

8. Done? Make sure you didn't miss a thing or else... Then click SUBMIT or SAVE or CREATE BOOKMARK etc...

9. Do the step 6 till 8 over and over again till you finish browsing all the social marker sites.

10. Your done bookmarking!!!

KHTO2010 - Means "Knows How To Optimize 2010" , who you do you think knows how to optimize their blog or their website....? ITS YOU GUYS!!! Well you have to create a post out of this topic into your blog. So this is it what you are waiting for.
